if you grit your teeth a lot, thats repressed anger. not good. ii used to get "the rage' as i called it. most of my spanners are lying in a field next to the yard lol.saying no is always good to, but when we work for ourselfs we feel we have to say yes, all the little freebies, all the complaints for no reason that you just smile about, then go home and take it out on your loved ones. i used to call it my B S face. and then their is the guilt of being horrible to them but you are too stuborn to say sorry. 001_smile:

Thats me :blushing: only just looking at this thread but that totally explains me sometimes :(

i suppose i could try make it easier by not working for idiots that do not pay, that really bugs me, chasing and chasing money, yet if i don't do the work i worry about what will come in etc....

1st year on my own at age 22 :blushing:

STRESS:- We wanted a less stressful life so sold the home in the UK and purchased a 200 acre place with a mortgage in Southern Norway. (Properties over 20 acres have to have a business plan approved from the local council to enable purchase which keeps rural places alive) Soon after being approved in the national land registration the previous man sold again a large section of the vital Agricultural/Garden land to the Statens Vegvesen (Norwegian Government Department of Transport)

Total Fraud/Theft which has been going on for several years now and we cannot finish moving in and cannot sell without at least a 30% value loss. The remains of a good longterm business in England and the rubbish start of a new one abroad. Going to be homeless on the 1st April 2012. MEP's involved and been on the TV but the Norwegians refuse to give back the land. 300 hundred wooden fencing poles smashed up.

Jeez guys, you have been getting a rough time.

All I can say is don't look for answers yourself, look for the right person who knows the answers.

I have just taken on a good contract, staff, material and kit .

it's been driving my head nuts, I should be happy as it is a great oppertunity but it got too much.

I looked through my phone book and out popped my mates name.

I now have an expert site agent / architect who will do all the paperwork and organising and just tell me what to do.

the weight is gone and I am having a nice coffee chilling before going back on site a happier camper:)

That's a great idea if the finance allows.

I am guilty of getting way too stressed because I try and micro-manage every aspect of every contract I have. Sometimes I need to but often I would be better off appointing a good person to take care of various parts for me.

Trying to find a good member of staff who is interested in the business going forwards are a needle in hay stack, they usually want to start up themselves
