for milk or meat? there are a few new meat farms starting that I have been told about lately and they seam to be doing well but its a limited market

 

Meat, but the limited funds to start up has meant that it will take a while to get it off the ground. Just a bit disheartening pumping a lot of money in at the moment with no return- it will come thou (i hope).

my pygmy goats on the other hand. they pay for them selves. A couple of them are due to kid any time now.

 

Going back to the meat. I have had loads of prospective interest, none from minority groups. The meat has a similar amount of protein as beef with a fraction of the saturated fat!!

 

To be honest i would sooner pump the money into my tree work. We have approx £4k worth of goats... that could have been better spent on a chipper!!! The missus doesnt agree :lol::lol:
