I met a guy several years ago who owns a large commercial Arb firm. He said he tries to only employ Polish and Kiwis because the British are useless.

 

I have changed you to who, it looks like a predictive error on his phone

"He's quite right. " OMTC comment based on his experience having worked with a few duff brits. Which I have also, I reckon 9 out of 10 brits I've worked with have very bad work ethic/capability.

 

I have also worked with sly/lazy poles and excellent poles. Hence OMTCs comment:-

 

I have a Polish guy on my my team and he's great although I should add that's because he's a good man, not because of his heritage.

There are good and bad people in every country.

 

Its a shame this got stirred up as a petty debate because OMTCs Last comment is very valid. Im ashamed to be British sometimes.

Sorry Rich, I thought discussion was the point of a forum? I've got a job and am enjoying a weekend off. I was just pointing out to one member who seems to like picking a fight with another particular member and then playing the martyr that in this case he was very much mistaken.

We employ some Polish lads and some Kiwi`s , no problems . They are definitely beneficial to our outfit and its not cheap labour its more to do with them doing just that bit more than the english lads will do. Example of this is the drag race out of this yard at night with our lads , its always the Polish lads left here cleaning out the trucks and getting tomorrows kit ready.
