Jack Stevens died when a plank fell from a Travis Perkins lorry and went through his windscreen.

 

 

Similar thing at Aberdeen harbour a few years back, pure luck no one was hurt  as this ended up on the pavement after toppling off a flatbed.

Whilst I know it's the drivers fault for not securing the loads.

 

It does point out poor design by not having chaining points or threaded eyelets, driver did what they could albeit it very poorly considering the size of the load.

She was sitting a bit low with this lot. Underneath about 100kg of storage heater bricks, old kitchen worktop and other rubbish from garage.

They rejected the bricks as some may contain asbestos, nonsence the heater was from 1992. They say if I wrap them, they will take it tomorrow.

Mazda 6 2010, 2L petrol. Great car, I was lucky to get one with low miles, 45k this week.
