Coppiceing some over size hazel in a garden last one had some back leaners so rather than turn truck around snatch block setup. You do what you have to when no one to pull on rope,

It was Endre’s Job.

I don’t think he added twat tax.

I wanted to charge that tax in the form of a crane to get the stick out but some people prefer the harder approach to the smarter approach.

Rediculous.

No Norwegian would intentially over-complicate any basic task for reasons known only to them.

A lovely end to the week with a dead Silver fir to remove, a sunny day which touched 15 degrees, not bad for December.
The tree was located in a wet part of the garden, so we took advantage of the owners Multione to position the chipper, chipped straight into the gardeners trailer to be used elsewhere, then loaded the tipper with 5’ lengths of timber, job and knock by 2:30. 👍

Looks good Dave.

Our day was less successful.

Halfway through the grinding the engine and cutter head separated from the slew!
All 12 bolts undone.

Trouble is they’re Yankee threads, so I have got to order them.

Fingers crossed it should be simple enough to rebuild, we’ve stripped it in preparation.
