yes it is very fine sand , a horse menage ....not worried about blunting chipper though it is just the sheer volume of the stuff!!

It will be like working on a beach 🏖 all day with out eye candy. Worked on many menage repairing fencing and that sand gets everywhere.

the sand is very dry and will not be clinging to brushwood , and then only branches on the sand , the sand particles are much smaller than the gap between anvil and blade on chipper so should not really be as much an issue as working in muddy areas or gravel ...not ideal I know but not a big issue ....

Something bit different, put up some chestnut pailing around our pond.
