Not the best photos ever by my phone, but nonetheless here is some new leaves on a windblown OAK I was clearing today.

Something I have never seen, an Oak going in February!!

Planted these conifers about 30 years ago.

 

We took them down today for site improvements (from a horticultural point of view, that is)

Bizarre timing. We were just having a conversation at work today about how we have been doing the job so long we are now even cutting down trees we planted.

Every thing is broken and under repair from chippers to cranes at work so just had this heavy reduction / crown reconstruction on this small Crimson King this morning that had been badly hat racked in the past..
