Slowly starting to take a more of a back seat role these days and let the lads do all the sites this week without me to see how they get on. First site they had to do a 3m reduction on a tpo'd willow.

I always look at the photos you post on this thread and am impressed by the work you do. It must be nice to be able to take a bit more of a back seat and take a more managerial role? You must have some good lads working for you.

I hope one day i will be able to get to the position you are in now, its just trying to find some decent lads i can trust! At the moment i am trying to do it all and at times it just a bit to much!

Cheers,

I've had a lot of bad employees over the years too.

I am fortunate with my clients, even my commercial ones prefer a tree looking good rather than a hack job.

I found this the point between having employees and going for it or staying smaller and turning away any big works. As I've learnt the money might be good but tackling a big job with small kit can be brutal.

Left the lads to there own devices as well today to get this oak down while I finished a job of elsewhere then fetched digger out to load the timber once they had it down.

Pleased with how they did on whatll be the biggest job iv just left them to it.
