Today I'm not enjoying my Land Rover, it needs a new gearbox AND a new transferbox!! And while they are out they are putting a new clutch in. I'm glad I'm VAT reg now LOL.

 

Hi hodge have you had a transfer box and gearbox in the past or is this the first one hodge thanks hope get it fixed soon thanks Jon

Just had a transfer box rebuild including new casing , backend gearbox casing , housing and bearing for the bit that takes the drive from the prop to the transfer box and a clutch and flywheel.£1200.

Wanted a Rakeway clutch but did not have the time to get one.

I've got a re con box and transfer box as new genuine landrover were way to expensive!! I had a new gear box fitted 3 years ago, 40k miles in that time, but she has a hard life.

Last time I had to do 1 I dropped lucky with a low milage box from a disco that had met a unhappy demise so was actually a good purchase.

Anyone fitted a larger intercooler to a 300? New box on the back of the 130 has transformed it from the speed machine it once was...

Done the full width intercooler and a VNT

Not cheap but well worth the money, the power increase is pretty substantial.

I still need to sort out the fueling which I will get around to at some point.

I would highly recommend doing it, I ended up buying mine from allisport after being messed about for weeks by allard.

HI KIETH there chaps around here NOW FITTING VW/AUDI VNT TURBO with large intercooler on TD5 they pull very well thanks jon
