TCD - if it is your first week, keep at it - perhaps just the body going into survival mode and laying down supplies in the face of a sudden drop in intake.

Would have thought that once you have established a good regimen that you will shed it - and more.

I so flippin hope so; I'm so fed up with being FAT! I am a FAT ****! I look like a man who likes cake; big tits, one pack for stacking logs on, mouth dissapearing in folds of fat, can't breathe when reversing as the packed abdomen squeezes my lungs! What a disgusting creature!

3rd week and not a even a full african breakfast has done anything!

Struggling; my aerobic exercise has increased from zero to 8 hours a week and my calorie intake dropped by a 1/3 but I've put 1/2 a stone on...:confused1:

sounds like your taking the right steps, that 8 hours of cardio a week will surely get you on the right track.

im making the effort to eat breakfast every morning of two slices of brown toast and two boiled eggs, and that seems to be working- i reckon its a good mix of kick starting metabolism, and the necessary carbs and protein for the day.

Well I apear to have managed to shed a little over half a stone, I have been trying to follow the reducing calories to 500/600 for 2 days a week that was in the vid on the Ramadan thread, I don't think I managed it completely, but have reduced my intake considerably. I am also in training for a 3 day 78 mile sponsored walk, so am walking 10 to 20 miles each weekend.

I'm currently a little over 13stone, my target is 12.5 stone.

My weight has held at 98-102kg for about 3 years now (after getting up to 131kg weightlifting, up from 77kg 4 years prior to that). What I notice now is that my weight isn't moving, but my body composition is very slowly changing with a tiny bit of muscle wastage and a tiny amount of fat gain.

That said, if I am working, I can eat anything I like and never gain weight. I also drink more than I used to (10 pints a week, though sometimes a touch more) but it's not made much difference.

I appreciate that I am lucky, and well done to all those on the thread that have lost weight or are trying.

I am currently heavier than I have ever been, and more content than I have ever been.

I came through Uni about 8 or 9 stone.

And could eat all put in front of me.

Currently running prob nearer 14 stone than 13 (and 12/12.5 would be about right)

Last spring summer I was prob down to near 12, until I "tweaked" the back.

A convalescent diet of Guinness, Hagen Dazz, and Weatherspoons burgers/Ale did not help.

Cheers all and keep dieting on my behalf.
