Hire centres around me all have their machines out, urgently require this week as I have a back log of trees I've taken down but unable to finish the jobs due to no stump grinder. Either coment on here or message me. Ng34 / NG32 areas thanks in advance
  5. Hi just a slow winter, I burned through most my work in the Autumn as I needed the £thousands to finish the house I’m working on this year. Got my project finished, great, but have exhausted my winter bookings so just looking for a bit extra. I’ll do clearance work, straight fells, groundie, brash monkey, hedge work, fencing if required. Can travel anywhere in England for short term work or one offs. Thanks in advance. (I’m in East Lincs)
  6. Experienced climber required couple of days a week in the Boston area (possibly Spalding/Sleaford some days) on a sub-contracting basis. Contact 07365260895 thanks
  7. Hello all, well that's me, I'm done! Unfortunately last year I was in a head on collision & after months of recovering & physio I'm still not much better after suffering from neck, back, & shoulder injuries. So it's time to hang up my harness & physically retire from the industry. I'm moving into a second life long love of mine, photography so I still can remain my own boss. Would be nice to meet people on arbtalk & spend half a day shooting arborists in action, this would be free as it's purely promotional to build up a portfolio & clientele. plus I'm moving into wedding photography so if any of you peeps want a free wedding photographer this year let me know. I have a contract with the local paper so I have a realiable source of income whilst doing free promotional work. Last but not least I'm selling off my kit, saws & trimmers so if anyone is in need of little used kit PM me (purchased new tools in 2015) Mods- Hope I'm allowed to remain on arbtalk given I want to shoot arborist material.

I can do a fair amount of jobs but climbing from one conifer to another whilst hedge topping is not something I'm up to. Decent rates of pay, location New York (near conninsgby) LN4. Maybe future work on offer if you impress me!
  10. Hi I'm doing the Cornwall Devon thing this year, for the surfing, biking, walking thing (livin' the dream!). Hoping to pick up a fare here and there for a few pound notes. Living in my camper van so I can drive to site with my own chainsaw & Ppe. Got plenty years of experience and can work pretty cheap just so that I can top up my tank and put food in my tummy. So if anyone has a bit of work here and there let me know. Can work at short notice, well shortly after carving up that half pipe anyhow!!!

  13. 'Anyway the wife suggested treating myself to a new saw as she would fit the bill as my Christmas present' that doesn't happen in my house, on the contrary, she would sell one of my chainsaws at Xmas if she had half a chance
  14. Looking for an individual for 24 hours work a week. 8am-4pm 3 days a week (24 hours paid as dinner is paid) you choose so long as the days are grouped together, experience is required, especially cutting a hedge! Van, tools provided Immediate start
  15. Well slap me & call me Suzie, is it that hard to find a climber on here??!! I've been advertising on the employment forum for nearly a month now & not a sausage. Is everyone really busy or have I been sent to Coventry I'm begining to wonder. I've asked around local tree surgeons but they are all flat out can't even spare a 3-4 hour climb which is madness. I'm looking for a preverbiable hot climber like I used to be when I was in my 20's . pay is £50 an hour (most my climbs are between 3-5 hours to give you an idea)
  16. As per title, need a team of two to 3 guys for one day (1 or two climbers & a groundie) with one or two loads of chip away (local chip site available) Got a job to smash in a day, with a good team that shouldn't be a prob but any left over I can cut/clear up by myself. please email with cost. need it done within 7-10 days Job is postcode pe20, I dont mind how far you come as long as you can get there by 9am. E: [email protected] or 07956422120
  17. I've hot some climbing jobs over the next few months, need a climber on board adhoc, good rates of pay and accommodation provided.
  18. Think I've been sent to Coventry or summat's?!
  19. A week has passed & not a single arbtalker has taken up the work??!! I thought there were loads of guys on here needing a bit of work!! I really need to get this job knocked on the head so there is an attractive rate on offer if anyone can help me get this job done this week - thus/fri/sat Thanks
  20. Hi I've got 2-3 days climbing, pretty straight forward stuff- birch reduction & willow re-growth pollarding. I've injured my wrist and therefore can't climb, but I'm able to groundie. Decent rate on offer. sorry it's short notice, I'm booked in & don't want to let the guy down
  21. The travel on the first fell was amazing, near pulled a couple of meters from the base. I love a good fell, keep up the great work lads. THM
  22. Yes indeed, I'm partial to a spot of Sunday work too
  23. I totally agree with you there, silkys are the way forward... I'm the stealth tree surgeon- especially handy on a Saturday morning when people don't wat to hear the blip of an ms200t at 8.30am!!
