Perfect job for an Arbor Trolly!

One day 3 men - what ever your price for that (750-900)

40 yd - ro-ro bin £450+vat or grab lorry green waste around £300+vat, grab lorries take around 20tons.

... and you can stunt fell most of them, always quicker when it's on the deck (even if they are facing the wrong way, plus there will be 3 people dragging). and definitely hire an arbor trolly!

I don't think that they are 50ft from the picture, (i have been known to be wrong before though!!) and I would say that the ones in the middle look like bonus trees. I personally can't see there being more than a days work there, (if nothing goes the shape of the pear!!).

Did you get it done?

i would price it for 2 days so £800 (because ive been there and done it with people saying greenhouses etc will be moved it hardly ever happens!) as said i would use a truck to remove woodchip 3 or 4 loads of chip i would guess 1-2 loads timber. a roll on roll off skip would be very overkill we had couple massive conifers i brought in a roll on roll off skip we didnt even fill it.

Given how you are proposing to carry out the task you need to charge at least £2000 that should take care of everything and allow for the logistics. Forget doing it for less you have to make a profit, its just unfortunate you don't have the kit yet to do it in a more cost effective way.If you get the job all well and good if not then some one else benefit from it. Good luck.

RORO skips round these parts can be booked for £225. This is possibly more cost-effective than hiring someone in to run a chip truck back and forward. There's no need to have to completely fill a RORO for it to be worthwhile - the convenience of being able to blow chip straight into it, and leave the waste firm to take it all can be is well worth having.

Those connies though...def not 50ft, prob more like 35ft assuming the shed door is 7ft.

I would want 3 men, 1 climbing, 2 dragging (with one of the draggers being your subby transit owner, nipping off to empty as and when)

You will be there 2 / 3 days as I understand you are a relatively new climber from previous posts (and presume you'll be climbing them as they dont look like a fell!?) Plus the drag on that material is greater than you think (youll know what i mean when stuff starts hitting the deck)

From the pictures alone I would price this at £900 - £1,100

At 3 days your charging between £100 and £122 per man day with all that waste to cart away????
