We like to moan about the weather in this country but at least we don’t really get extremes of anything. This is the hail at the in-laws tonight, northern Italy

Got talking to a bloke from Genoa in the supermarket earlier. He lived in Newcastle for twenty years. I nearly made a crack about the weather and masochism. Glad I didn't. I'd have looked so silly.

That hail is mental, must do a ton of damage? I don't think the new builds here would survive 5 minutes of that

Neighbours roof mounted solar panels are no more. Apparently this happens every summer which makes you wonder why they bother

That's what I thought, plus dent a car expensively.

 

Yes I am sure it wrecked solar panels, it wouldn't put me off but I would cover them with polycarbonate sheet and accept a lower output.

The weather can only be described as "Total Freaking Sh1t". For July it's worse than winter.
