same here,but had a bit of snow this afternoon aswell

well whatever the weather outside my house is, it's rare. for only the second time in 30 years a southerly wind has blown a snow drift so deep across my track i had to dig a trench out so my Mitsubishi L200 could bulldoze thru.

Had agreed to dismantle a sycamore over a friend's gas tank yesterday, spiked up the tree setting up for the rigging to be shouted down for bacon sandwiches, the sap has run from the tree forming little icicles,,,,,,,

Utterly miserable weather here today. 6-7 degrees, persistent rain and strong wind. 

 

By way of contrast, my brother in law in Sweden went for a walk yesterday on the largest lake in Western Europe (Vänern). Minus 18 and ice as far as the eye can see.

Went for a walk with dog up in the woods mid morning and there was still ice in the puddles and some snow still in sheltered spots  Got back to the truck  2 hours later and it just started to rain . Its driving rain now and the temp has come up from minus 1 to plus 4 degrees . Liked it how it was !

After Thur and Friday being lovely and bitterly cold and dry and clean, as soon as it started to snow yestersay morning, the temperature rose.

Today when I went out about lunchtime I could hardly credit how warm it was, with the wind fully from the South.

About 10 or 11 deg.

A shocking change inside of 24 hrs.

Bright and sunny with only a slight breeze. Ground is still frozen so spaniels came home clean and dry. Which is good 👍

Extremely windy today on Dartmoor. Torrential hail showers mixed with bright sunshine. Very cold too.
