Rope Wrench feedback

I've got my own setup on the way after using the boss's kit for a while. 60m of Cougar Blue and some Armor Pruss. Unashamedly excited! I've noticed a lot of guys seem to climb on a Knut, why choose this over a VT?

I switched over to a knut when I got the RW, I couldn't get a VT to work well. I prefer the knut as it seems more reliable, easier to tend, and you can use a much shorter cord and have less sit-back.

I use Blue Tongue and currently on 8mm AP, which is the orange polyester version, I might try the regular 8mm AP next, or Beeline.

Do you guys notice the hitch cord feeling 'flatter' than DRT when using the wrench?

So a Knut bites well and tends well? I think my VT tying skills may be off as I find I need to be constantly visual that it's bit.

I've seen a lot of guys mentioning the flattening and when I climbed single this week I was reminded of that, I definitely noticed a flattening of Cougar Blue, almost resembling an oval shape
