I really like the bike, although as its my first propper bike I dont have much to compare it to.

I would like a wider seat because it hurts my arse, handlebar risers and lowered pegs. All of the above only really comes into play on long rides, not blatting about locally which is what I do the most of.

That’s the TE125 cleaned up a tad, changed all fluids and replaced the battery and plug. Turned her over in gear a few times minus the plug etc and gave it a once over but in reality with 332 miles it’s not needing much at all and fired up as sweet as can be ( if it were me I’d be swapping the tyres mind) . I’ve no intentions to keep this so if anyone wants a learner legal top quality 125 then feel free to PM me.

Fresh Arrow can fitted to replace standard, radiator guards, tank pad and headlight protector 👌 well suited, will do me for a good few years i rekon! 😎

I bought this last year in Sweden, just overhauled the carb and given it a general  birthday.

Off to the other side of the country tomorrow.  It's kind of fun to ride an old bike now and again, similar probably to enjoying the affections of an older lady.

A proper Dakar rep...not the modern fashionable 2 wheeled Christmas trees with metal panniers.

Keep rocking the old but gold. I wish I had the legs to ride one. DR650 nearly did for me. I'll stick to the road thanks.

User Maintainable and minimal electronics.

Nice. I’m finally getting round to go getting my much smaller Yamaha back together. Carb needs doing on that. Float was stuck or holed or something because unless you’re consuming fuel at a fast enough rate, it leaks out of an overflow onto the engine. Either fix it or fit a fire extinguisher. Needs the boot either fixing (cracked) or replacing too.

Nice Mike, I used to have the 750 super tenere great bike and did a rake of miles on it. Loved watching the Dakar when Peterhansel was dogging his 900 Yamaha flat out across the desert, unbelievable balls and skill.

Cbr600 2002. Got her at 27k miles and commuted all weathers until 2020 covid, she died a week before covid hit the UK at 125k miles. The timing chain jumped, easily fixed but while furlough I tarted her up, angood service mechanically but never reassembled. ULEZ makes it pointless...

Cbr250RR MC22, 1992 or something. Carbs are a pain, it ran ok, amazing revvy fun engine, but never ran perfectly and hesitated at the top end. Not been on the road for a while, the tank is now black.

Brothers chinese 125, I ride it occasionally and help maintain it. No power above 40mph but good fun for city riding. Unlike most 125's it has proper sized tyres 110/140 70 17, same as the 250 and feels like a bigger bike.
