What you doing with him Alex ,Beating ?

I took my spaniels out at dusk for some woodcock …. Arrived a bit early but at around 4 .30 the flight lanes came  alive but I was nearly home and had unloaded the gun so just sat and watched them for a while darting and weaving in the wind … tbh I’d rather watch them anyway unless I’m counting 50+ coming past.

Keep section 1 firearm & section 2 shotgun licensing separate. I think this would help to protect law-abiding owners, the shooting industry, & rural communities...

 Only around 60k signatures so far …with 800k gun owners it’s a bit disappointing … so if you haven’t already !

So rarely seen in the woods I worked that I wouldn't dream of shooting them.

A lot near me on Essex Suffolk border but never see them until week before Christmas or week after depending on weather. 

Neighbor go's on shoot in Wales and they bag 12 to 16 on top of pheasants..

Done it when it first appiered .

This has been my feeling for a number of years now . Only ever shot 3 anyway .
