Break In - Edinburgh

Early hours of 24th December the TD Trees yard at Edinburgh was broken in to and we've lost a lot of kit. I know it's a long shot but if anyone hears about, or is aware of anything we'd like to hear please, any info gratefully received.

Two vehicles taken, a Ranger which has been found near Musselburgh, likely a write off but the Police have recovered it for forensics. And an unmarked white transit tipper MK15 OKA is still missing.

Otherwise we've lost all our personal climbing kits, some rigging gear, and a lot of other miscellaneous gear.

Saw wise we've nothing left, the list is extensive.

2 x 560xp
2 x 550xp

390xp ported with full wrap
ms 661
ms 462
2 x 201t - 1 ported
2 x 200t
Echo 2511tes
Msa 300 with 3 AP300 batts
161t
151t
150t

2 x 357
Stihl Br800
Echo PB8010
Stihl BG 86

Plus 2 pole saws, all the hedge cutters, plus?

Some of these are @Crocky ported and have his stickers on them so could be recognisable, as is the full wrap on 390.

This has left us in a difficult position with commitments to call out work over the holidays and the usual programme of work lined up when we're back.

If anyone's aware of something that may be relevant please let us, or me on here know.

Thanks.

Bad news Doug, for Tom and all concerned.

He's away just now but been very calm about it considering Mick. Focus now on getting all the info together to get stuff replaced when the suppliers open up.

Just starting to realise, we've all the climbing kit stuff listed for loler but it doesn't include so much wee stuff you accumulate over time, the stuff that makes your kit "yours".

Start from scratch again.

I heard earlier Doug, shite news.

Fingers crossed the police get a result.

As Monkeybusiness said, if eBay and FB marketplace weren’t so complicit in helping the thieving scum we’d see a lot less of this.

The middle east countries have a few bad practices, but cutting the hands off thieves isn’t one of them.
