In fairness 90% of ours is this end, try not to go past the middle, that seems to bring on a nose bleed, more to the point there a bit strange over ‘tuver side in the east!

The rigours and torments, I honestly don’t know how you cope with the stress and anxiety.

Minimum 1 hour on shitty back roads. Sometimes up to 150/4.5 hours there and 4.5 back with 8 on the saw.

One of the times I wonder why we even do it 😂

Unless you're earning at least £1k a day I think you're mad. You could commute to London in that time and earn more with much less physical effort than chainsaw work!

JDon you are doing it because life’s an adventure, you’re a gun for hire!  The money covers your costs of living.  Driving along an empty road early doors, the sharpness of the morning air, the mist rising off the hills, reflections on lochs the echo of the hammer hitting the wedges, another whack, another nibble of holding timber, braap braap of the throttle and then that CRACK!!!  Scrambling over hag to get out the way excited and scared at the same time as a tree goes past the tickly bit, saw off, ear muff up and listen to the sound of her crashing onto the floor as she lays to rest!  Gives me shivers! And then there’s glory when an old boy says ‘ nice job young man and shares his tales of adventures !’  Priceless, I can remember every pat on the back and compliment way more than any misery story!

Commute to London 😂😂.    Ooo the excitement!

Was in Brazil last November. Might be heading to Australia in a few months. I like to keep my Carbon Footprint as high as my Air Mile balance. :D

We ain’t supposed to be in on this one Andy but I’ve done the Las Palmas down to Africa a good few times 8-10 day sail. Awesome bud and it really makes you think of the guts of the guys who did it all by sail years ago. Reading the responses to thread by those it was aimed at it’s surprising how close a lot of people are to home work wise on a daily basis.

I wonder if these home birds are also the most vocal for the Covid measures?
