Does that also apply to parcels tho or is it all private companies. As Norway and Sweden don't really have eBay as such.

Ive sent numerous parcels, packets and letters to Norway, both to private individuals and government agencies and generally they are tracked. They all leave the UK promptly and then enter the 3rd world limbo for days on end when they get to Norway. Its quite baffling really.

I get the same thing with FedEx from Sweden, sits in a depot for a week then it arrives. Postnord is absolutely zero hassle in comparison and sales through.

I don’t believe so.

It’s 19th century technology.

We have to find a way of making genuine emails legitimate, a bit like a blue tick on Twitter.

I can't remember the last time I sent a letter and I work for Royal Mail on Saturday mornings. The direction towards more people using email is only going to continue and it looks like I will see the end of the letter in y life time.

Tell me about it!

Norway has lots of positive points.  Their postal service isn’t one of them.

It’s like a third world service.  I honestly cannot guarantee anything will be received or arrive.

The when it does arrive late there is often a load of fees tacked onto the package.  Usually parcels.

My office work is paper only. Everything printed. I generally get paid in advance but if I ever have to invoice after the fact, it goes hard copy, first class post.

Atleast the posties have good working conditions though?

Meanwhile in the north of Scotland, the postal service is great :thumbup1:

The only delays recently have been apparently due to backlogs at the big parcel centres in the south of England

If you mean by good conditions, they get a small electric go kart and it really doesn’t matter if they put the letters in the correct boxes…. Then yeah, there working conditions are amazingly good.
