I tipped about 2 tonnes of beech rings up the yard yesterday afternoon, so I’ll handball them onto the stack tomorrow to check the op was successful.

Good luck with the recovery, will you be  expecting to do the same workload physically as before? Or will there be a change of attitude to some aspects of what you do?

Proper recovery is key, but ultimately I hope to be able to do more physically, not less, certainly in terms of climbing etc.

I will definitely ease back on the handballing of heavy timber though, pretty sure that’s what wrecked me.

Good luck and proper recovery means doing nothing that might tear the ongoing repair, never picking up high weights again is a start, let the fit people do it without straining.
