Update on this, and I thought I’d tag @Darrin Turnbull to avoid repetition.

I’ve been working around the hernias, but the pain isn’t getting any better, more so after bigger days.

The specialist thinks they will only enlarge with time, and my guts will end up in my ball bag.

Not much choice really, having both sorted with a keyhole op on the 7th Jan.

Private, £5k.

The current NHS waiting list in my area is well over 2 years.

 

At least I’ll sit out some crappy weather I suppose.

If anything, the thing that got me was the boredom. Yes the pain every time you move a little isn’t great, but after being used to being busy all the time, 2 days in and I was going insane. You won’t even get your own socks on 🤣. Honestly, do not try to rush back, easier said than done though. Hope all goes well 👌. This jobs a hard game 🥵

I've always thought I'd enjoy prison for the same reasons but after a while I'd have to calm down and leave the other inmates alone
