Pay some one what they are worth to you but don’t start crying when they get offered better money and leave if you don’t...
Whole wage thing in this industry is a joke ... apprenticeships are payed on minimum and lads are put off and leave before they reach any real potential..you have college boys and so called freelancers wanting top dollar a day and to be honest are not worth a wank... it used to be that subbie freelancers where problem solvers for the difficult jobs , the reg Coates of the tree world who had earnt the right to be there and command decent money through there years of experience but now any muppet can watch a load of hunickie and Travor u tube vids and wear that badge and demand top dollar despite turning up and more likely to and be a liability... then blame Nate.

OK, so... 150 minus minimum 40 in tax, possible transport, climbing gear, PPE, and so on so 90 left or bit less🙄, my good friend in Leeds have that in local LIDL, Plus she babysitting few dogs on weekend and one private house cleaning once per week, so she have about 650 per week, no expense, paid holiday iam in shock 😳

It would be £150+Vat. No-one would go and work as a climber with kit, freelance for £125. That's groundie rates.
