Rubbish aint it mate, I got a call last night, Ive seen your number on the side of your car, Cool i thought How much to cut an 80ft tree down?? I say i cant quote over the phone, ill have to call round and have a look, then give you the quote, He then said, Can you do it for £50? I said no, Why £50? He said oh, ive already had one guy say £50, Ok i say, No worries, Bye then!! :sneaky2:

LOL like it John, i used to get upset with this sort of thing or when landscape boys got there B+Q special out and chrage the same as me but i dont now, way i see it is if someone can do it for free they aint a business and it cant be a big job anyway, the free men, scapers and pikies cant do bug stuff.

I had an old lady phone me a while ago and asked how much i was going to pay her to take her trees down as she said i would make money on selling the timber, i dont know anyone who sells popular.

And if you do quote low they don't take you up on your quote until your really busy... put a time limit on your quote.
