As you’ll know K, there really is an active margin that seek such scenarios in Kernow as well as the better known.

What with all the constant whining, even though I think it’s madness, at some point (when it hits a majority) the ‘people’ should be given what they ask for.

Yea, the pink shouty fvvker gave them that, then looked what happened!   Cant you get yr castle finished n get back to feudalism?  Make yr tpo paperwork easier ☺️  k

I wont be surpised by:

-VAT increase to 22%,

-Council tax increase across the board,

-Scrap the tax free £2k dividend,

-Increased taxation for company directors taking minimum salary & dividend combination,

-Fuel duty increase,

-Increased BIK for vehicles.

It's all speculation and bollox. Sick of some off the bullshit news articles that come up.on my phone....

See what happens when it happens otherwise you can speculate all day long and worry.

If taxes rise and blah blah blah has no one thought of dropping down to a 3-4 day week lol haha

How will they possibly justify this, when small Ltd Co's have had bugger all help?

Can't see it happening personally.

I’ve had **************** all help during COVID.
Banks won’t give me a business account,
because I don’t have a stack of cash in my account.
Yet nearly every business I know has had tens of thousands thrown at them, viable business or not.
I’m not paying anyone else’s grants and loans off.

Thats very strange, I ran my business with just a private account for years, I was forced to open a business account by my bank. Banks don't usually want you have a "stack of cash" in your account, that makes them no money at all. What they want to see is a good flow of revenue in and out of the account and the opportunity to lend you money, that you can afford to pay back.

My bother is a sole trader, straight as a die, all his income is declared, he has done very well, he's had 80% of his profits off HMRC.

hitting the Self Employed with higher taxes to try a scrape back some of the Billions he has given out which was always going to happen and will be interesting how he goes about doing that

I can see this being a very slow process.I don't think the self employed in particular will be bearing the brunt of this, it will ultimately be the working class and I think they will pluck our pubes one by one over many years rather than a swift kick in the nuts.
