This is interesting , what problems do the ear muffs suffer from ?

The earmuffs on the protos don't pop down tight like the MSA–especially if you have hair in the way. Yes, I should get a hair cut! I guess that's why the protos muffs are not chipper spec–there's just not enough room. Having sensitive ears I prefer maximum noise reduction even when no chipper operating.

I think it is down the the shape/size of your head, but mainly down to setting it up properly. Try one on and have a play about, as long as you don’t look in a mirror you will be happy.

I apparently have a head the shape of a horse box !!
I’m trying to work out whether that will work for or against me [emoji848][emoji23]

Yup love from husky technical i think after busting an ear off it faffing in a conifer reduction. Gold away ears are ace, took more setting up, once done it’s mega comfy and i find it doesn’t seem to get caught nearly as much.

I'm at my wits end with my CT helmet. Its dreadful. Always going out of adjustment and you constantly find it flopping around after a short while....its literally doing my head in. So for those of you who already own a Protos, do you think its the best helmet currently available that you've tried and has it been worthy of the considerable investment despite its questionable Power Ranger design influences ?
In a word, yes.

Do they still fit back up into the helmet like the original ones.

Thanks
