Opico Skidster or sherpa mini loaders

Has anyone rigged up some sort of rake attachment for their mini skid? Doing miles of conifer hedge trimming today and it got me thinking of how nice it would be to use the Sherpa to rake it in to piles!

I’m looking to knock one up soon.

 

An rsj with haybob tines bolted to it is probably what I’m going for, something I can just pick up with the grab.

I’ve been working on my own a lot more recently.

 

Thought I’d start this job reducing a line of sycamores and hawthorns down to 3’ and see how I got on.

Field behind has already been drilled, and there’s no headland, so nothing can go backwards.

70m drag to chipper.

 

Going ok so far.

 a rake would be invaluable on that job.

Ive got a brush that goes on either my 1.8 tonne or 8 tonne machine and its been a game changer

Kind of out the blue, he was just cold calling basically.

 

Asked if I was interested in sweepers, which I’m not really, but then mentioned rakes just like Mick’s above, with tines.

 

Apparently just about to launch.

 

No headstock, just pick up with grab and go.

Sounds a dream, it will probably cost too much, but Klou make quality kit, we’ll see.
