I actually thought this was a bit of a piss take but you’ve got me seriously thinking now.

That will fold up soon as look at it. Plus you don’t want the additional weight of the pallet forks, it’d be too much.

I wouldn’t use pallet forks, I’d have a bracket made up welded to it that fits the WQ headstock.

I probably wouldn’t go for that exact one, I’d go smaller and chunkier, because as you say it looks a bit flimsy.

That one weighs 65kg.

Mine weighs 75kg and is very solidly constructed. I think you'd have to have one made, you'd not find one off the shelf to suit. It wants to be narrow from back to front to keep the load centre as tight as possible. It also needs the brackets welded to a suitable bit of the frame that transmits the load to the rest of it, which you're not going to have on a crate designed to be carried on the forks.

Used a basket on telehandle, loader tractor and small loader to cut hedges make it easier.

Customer turned up with thisDSC_0265_1.jpg.3c157db864524b5706d3948d76687624.jpgs a couple of months ago just sat it a long hedge and accessed it with ladder.

Can anyone recommend a log grab to go on a worky quad?

Have found a SSQ15D for sale, comes with a spare set of wheels, counter weights, pallet forks and a bucket, and has done 8hrs from new. Managed to haggle to guy down to £11k so think it’s a pretty good deal for me.

I'm still a big fan of the bucket grab for logs etc. You'll not be carrying chunks longer than the grab is wide on such a small machine anyhow, and it's useful for lots of other things.

I'll try to find the thread, @ahpp and I had quite the debate!
