Gloves for Monkey Puzzle dismantle

Ive taken one of these bad boys down in the past and it wasn't fun so I know we need decent gloves to handle the branches going through the chipper.

Can anyone recommend a pair?

Is thorn resistant gloves the way to go or something more hardcore.

can't go far wrong with thick welding gauntlets for something like this. Reasonably cheap and do the job. You'll still need to handle with care though

Ripeur 2’s are my choice, but they are pricey.

I’ve just bought a backup pair of welding gauntlets for £6 in a jaunty red.

That will be fun the first time it rains.

Welding gauntlets for sure. 

I was talking to someone about the only monkey puzzle I've done the other done the other day and how it wasn't too bad with the welding gauntlets.

Thick leather or welding gauntlets. I have done several Monkey Puzzles over the years. 

If a spike/leaf punctures your finger you can expect it to get very swollen and stiff by the end of the day, but then mine got a lot better overnight. Also had one of these beast nick a vein on my forearm, wonderful.
