All you need for some light rigging up in the tree is a mini portawrap. i have used one for years mostly i confess from a MEWP.

you do need a swivel on it  and though i havent done it it would be helpful to have some pegs to separate the lines to stop the rope from going over itself which occasionally happens and locks it off. Of course because i am in a MEWP it is no problem  going back and sorting it out

I think the steel carebiner on a munter and the Ariel rigging device should suffice for my needs.. I'm as well to spend 200 dollars on that ariel device as buy another portawrap..  I already have the RC200..
