Anyone else affected by this on here ?  This coming Sunday  I will become a prisoner in my village along with a lot of other people in the surrounding villages .  The lycra  brigade are taking over and all the roads will be closed all day .  There was no consultation just a leaflet put through the doors saying you will not be able to get in or out of the village . My 94  year old Dad has carers attend 4 times a day to make sure he takes his meds and cook his meals do his washing etc etc . What happens there ? Its a fuck up . Not thought through . Just doing it and bollox to the rest of you .

Must be the same all over.

Drives me mad all the organization we put into roadside jobs to minimize inconvenience to public then these arrogant marshals stick a beacon on their car and take over,Making things more dangerous a lot of the time.

I'll wave as I ride past you miserable sod.. The ambulance to pick me up when I fall off again will be allowed on the closed roads.. Or the tax payer will pay for a helicopter..

I wont be watching . Ambulance crew won't be able to get to the ambulance station .
