I reckon we get two weeks in spring and two in autumn where the weather is great for working. It's then either too hot, too cold, too windy or too wet.

 

This heat is hideous though! Climbing is alright, dragging brash is vomit inducing.

A lot of builders are now holding off until the weather changes, some are turfing the day before people move in so they only have to water it for a day then leaving the owners the responsibility to water it.
If it was me I would ask the builder to wait.
Supposed to cool down towards the end of next week thankfully.

give me the rain or winter over this heat any day. 

 

ride on mowers hate it - tractor isnt loving the hills and i bloody hate the heat above about 15 degrees.

 

can dress for the cold but once hot cant  cool down, roll on winter any day
