Ah, it appears that "in typical arbtalk fashion" I've missed the point!

There was a point?

So that's what the hats for? Head down covering the closed eyes.

"I was deep in thought" if anyway wakes you.

Stefan, I doubt you'll find that anyone is wishing you failure, seems like most (myself included) are just wondering if your incessant hard work is paying you well.

The fact that you're avoiding the question could indicate otherwise. although you're perfectly entitled not to answer, you can't really be indignant either.

The first two years was just a big cost, the last 2 years been a bless specially late last year and this full 2018. Takes some time to get things moving. Learning the true cost of the business , learning to price accordingly, i do still do welding in oil / gas industry, and a full time job grinding. I’m blessed to have such a fantastic fiancé supporting me and helping with the paper trail and customer contacts. All I get is the addresses and go do the jobs, writing the risk assessments method statement I do myself. Means a lot to have good ones in that field.

The money comes in is just some numbers, I’m no interested in it so much as long as I can put by to next machine and next houses to buy and rent out.

What I’m suggesting is that if some want to go to next level, then one must take the risk. If one is not prepared to die in the process then I don’t think one can reach out to it.

This might be a one man band done to perfection or a big company 100 employees.

I honestly don’t understand the hype about it.

I hear it every day from fiancés dad, and others I’m going to kill myself and do on.

I’m happy to take the risk, working very hard towards goals and will stop at nothing.

I just tried to give a insight to how things work in real life for a hungry entrepreneur out hunting ! And others could see what’s needed.

Have you considered the relative merits of commercial rather than residential property? You (and possibly your fiancé) can buy commercial property with a SIPP or SSAS, helped by company pension contributions. I’ll ask one more time. How much money are you making stump grinding? Are you VAT registered?
