Mooching across the fields to the river with my dog and sitting while he plays in it.

 

Seeing all the wildflowers come up in my natural lawn.

 

Welcoming each season. Spring with flowers and birds; Summer with garden veg and fruit; Autumn with the hedgelaying and ploughing matches and winter hedgelaying.

Spring morning walks with my cocker seeing the insects and flies coming up off the grass when she runs around.

Any kind of weekend away with the mrs

And switching the saw off when were working in the woods and the silence returns...love that.
