I always find it a bit sad when some one stops doing whats they've been doing for a good chunk of their lives..   an end of an era an all that.

 

probably something to do with being a pessimists at heart, and wondering if people might be making an almighty cock up..  I should try to see the glass half full, wonder what challenges might lay ahead.  what new adventures are to be had.   

 

Anyways, good luck with what you got planned next..

If you are not enjoying something any more , and you can afford to , then its time to stop . Decision  made it seems . I wish you good luck Steve with the next stage of your life mate .

Know how you feel Steve , age / back pain / weather taking their toll on me , so thinking along the the same lines as you .

It’s been a long wet winter here , maybe some good weather will bring a change of heart .

Enjoy the next step whatever it turns out to be .
