When driving and a runner is running towards you, what are they thinking of.

You are supposed to walk/run against the flow, you can see what’s happening.

Walking/running with the flow you can’t see traffic and easily get tagged.

The weather turns cold and the little barsteward mice get in the loft and keep me awake with their incessant running around scratching at stuff! Bait trays tomorrow!

Yes that is a right PITA. Had rats in our place every winter chewing through the air barrier and insulation.

Think I have finally stopped them getting in but took some doing. They had chewed through the mortar where the wall adjoins a shed roof. Put more mortar in with strong mix but back in a the next winter. Filled the hole with injection resin and put a steel plate over it seems to have stopped the little bu@@ers

That's what you have a steering wheel for, to drive round things like that. Always face the oncoming traffic when on foot (unless there's a pavement then use that ;) )

Yes i know but in my area there are a couple of them that just keep running towards you when a car is coming the other way and there is not enough room for you to to pull out to let them pass. Had 1 run up the bank along side me and then slip in to car if it was a truck they would have been under the wheel.

That's when you use the other option, the brakes, but God forbid anyone should inconvenience the motorist. There are lots of narrow lanes round here and we get joggers, cyclists, motorists and horsists and everyone has to learn to get along.
