Steve, I have grabber at's on my np300 and yes it didn't handle great in the wet/ice/snow. Have now thrown about 150kg of firewood in the back and it's a different truck and handles really well. Ok you might not want a load of firewood in there (i dont have a canopy on mine) but you can use something else.

I've got General AT's on a Nissan X-Trail.... I did notice a difference in road grip compared with the standard road tyres that were on it before.

In the dry there's not a huge difference and if it's wet I just drive a little bit slower than normal, but not really that much slower... just a few mph slower.

Towing a loaded trailer in the wet has been fine.

Have you tried dropping the tyre pressures to see if that makes a difference?

Cheers, steve

So the difference between the old road tyres I had and the discoverer at3s is night and day.

Been driving all day today in wet roads and its grippy as hell.

No weight in the back and I've been flinging it into corners. I can still get it to kick out if I try but overall a big difference.
