I had a 22" on mine for a bit. Clearly not ideal but it was the only saw I owned and had some big trees to deal with. It coped as long as the blade was sharp and you take your time. Keep the rackers long as it helps it to not take too big a bite. The saw is still going strong but now lives with a 15" which is spot on.

Where did you get the 22" from?

Mines on an 18" at the moment and it screams, I'm sure it'd pull fine with a slightly bigger bar and a nice sharp chain. I've got bigger saws, just fancied trying a bit bigger on this one to see how it goes.
