There is a gateless crab coming, which will make SRT much safer, but it will always be twice as dangerous as DRT, obviously.

Looks very interesting obviously more work for the hard working Loler inspector, testing both gates, but I can see its uses.

 

Karabiner or Carabiner I have always spelt it with a K is this Americanising of our English again!

And the nice thing from a safety point of view is that if one gate doesn't close properly at least you have another one to fall back on.

I hope they develop a SRT version of the double gate binner.

Just imagine

SRT dangerous = DRT dangerous x 2

twin gate biners = 1/2 dangerous

Therefore =» SRT x twingate binners = DRT

The Arboricultural Association are now saying this new design will be the safest biner on the market, they've been working with Treemagineers to develop it.
