Nice job.

I had to laugh to myself though... a Landy doing that speed.

There are landrover enthusiast all over the UK, pedal to the metal, foot to the floor and trying their hardest to be pulled over doing 45 + in a 50mph zone.

Work got a speeding ticket for one of our vw vans near to the Dartford crossing despite our vans never leaving the north east our boss asked for a photo,it turned out to be a camper van pulling a trailer the reg number was similar but obviously different they can't have looked that closely we never heard anything back

hi all,

i received a letter from the police stating i have been caught doing 119 mph

past a speed camera.

The problem is apparently this was in a landrover defender 110 that struggles to do 90mph which makes it impossible.

any advice greatly recieved thanks in advance.

Ask for the cameras calibration certificate - it is an instrument - and must be regularly calibrated and tested - ( 2yrs I believe ) it is amazing how many speed-guns nevr get calibrated and is a def get-out fr you, K

This is I would suggest a fake, DO NOT PAY.

I had a similar thing again with a Defender in a part of the country I had never visited with said vehicle.

Check if the form is legit, not sure who issues them these days but certainly dont call any number on the form. If it is legit take the Landrover to court, most JPs will accept that a Defender wont do much over 70mph even with the sale up. Even a Discovery would struggle to get that high, my last Disco a TD5 would JUST get to 100 on the clock after 10 minutes of wind up.
