Treble it. Known them as shifters since I went to sea. Preffered brand Bacho, 10 ".

I thought everyone called them Adjustables.

 

The thing is with that 4 piece multipack; as nice as they are, surely you'd only ever need the smallest and biggest pair for everyday jobs? There's a large degree of overlap by their very nature.

AFAIK It's always been a seagoing term. Filters ashore eventually.

I would know them as a "shifting wrench", and would not dirty my hands with owt but  Bacho brand shifting wrenches.

I blagged a 15" and an 18" in the last days  a  genuine( local independant firm) closing down sale. I dread to imagine what they would have cost otherwise.
