I was wondering the other day how your bigger blocks were doing. Any significant failures?

Hello guys I'm looking for video resources that could help with tree inspections and PTI prep. Does anyone know of arborists or channels that produce walkthrough-style videos focusing on tree inspections, defect identification, or condition assessments? Something along the lines of what Jeremy Barrell shares on LinkedIn, but ideally with a bit more focus on inspection methodology or practical examples of tree defects in the field. YouTube, social media, or any platform really, all suggestions welcome! I have lots of reference books but I'm more interested specifically in tree inspection type videos. Thanks guys Tom

The deeds are quite clear. They are blocking, by fencing off, to the centreline, in line with their shared ownership to the centreline, of a long established and legally enshrined ROW ( one of 6 on our deeds) I had explained that, in so far as I am aware, from a rural upbringing, that despite someone owning " the soil and bed" of a ROW, it is worthless to them since they cannot "do" anything with it while others have a ROW over it. I am tempted to take direct action by removing the posts, but will wait for our solicitor to get back to us. Cheers

I would always ask for an updated Survey, I would also do a site visit if anything was controversial or flagging up concerns but as a general comment Officers are underpaid and overstretched with other commitments so not always possible.

Aye I rack up the miles. Did about 1000 miles the other week. But I don’t pick conifers hedges cuttings out of flower beds or off gravel anymore so sitting in a nice Hilux looking at countryside isn’t a bad swap. Finished my cut n fill job yesterday I’ve been picking away at.

Morning team, fine morning here! Blue skies and suns coming up behind the hills. Nice wee domestic job this morning then moving digger to next project. But first, breakfast!

Seems a shame not to have put the burr on eBay once I’d milled it… I’ve just seen one burr plank for £600 😂😂 I don’t think me with some big screws has done it any justice… I think I’m going to have a rummage and see what I have left !

This saw is still running very well. Had very good compression when I checked, always starts easily Last week we didnt have a chipper and a load of connifer had to be rashed up small the fit the van, Yesterday a fair amount of use chopping this stump. Slived the rounds with the g372 and noodled into manageable lumps with this. £20 more than my one.

Does look like ash. If it’s that big, black poplar is another possibility. One look at the leaves will tell us.

Anybody able to tell me what the "regen" function is, or does. Is it perhaps like the "float" function for the actual loader rams, but, if so, why would one want the attatched bucket, dung grape or pallet toes to float or regen? Well I suppose getting the bottom of a bucket level to a concrete floor might be one use, but one would usually dip the leading edge of the bucket a fraction, and float the loader itself. Anyway I have never used it, has anybody, and why, or for what purpose.?

Like when you were working?

Useful stuff, cheers. I'll look for cleanest lengths then. It had competition all right, long established ash beech and oak on all sides. So hopefully it'll yield some good straight sections.
