So for the last three weeks or so I’ve been getting increasingly fatigued, out of breath with a bit of tightness across the chest, so much so that walking at normal pace for 50m saw me breathing like I’d sprinted 200m - that’s unlikely at the grand age of 60 mind. Finally managed to get into the quacks on Monday - straight to a&e from there. Diagnosed with exertional angina. Had angiogram yesterday afternoon - two blocked arteries ☹️ Currently awaiting transfer to cardiac unit to have a couple of stents fitted which could take a couple of days to a week Very luckily I seem to have avoided a full blown heart attack and there’s only minor damage. I eat well, don’t smoke, like a few beers/wine, could work all day no problems including a bit of easier climbing when I fancied it. No previous symptoms before a month ago - never imagined it would happen to me. My wife’s had 3 heart attacks, 6 stents, full bypass, femoral anrtery bypass and is often in a wheelchair so I have to be there to care for her. So please - any warning signs, don’t ignore them and think “I’ll be fine, it’ll pass” - get yerself checked out 👍

A mate has them in his freezer for the odd meal. Says they taste better shot in the autumn when their diet is more nuts and vegetable based than in the spring and summer when they predate a lot of birds eggs and baby birds

Been covered before but smoke and mirrors come to mind. Worth noting next time VDL is spouting her EU garbage.

Hi all thanks for all your appreciated replies. I have a Husqvarna 550 XP mk 2 great saw, was wondering if there is bit lighter saw to use to cut the crooked cordwood, as at 74 the mind is more willing than the body😉

Timberwolf 150 2004 Diverter Valve solenoid Help.......
woody paul replied to Dodge's topic in Maintenance help
Just replace whole unit, my 150 played out about 4 years ago didn't get from timberwolf as said I needed to change whole setup with hydraulic manifold . Ring Parker hydraulics in Norfolk, supplied unit all you need is shorter bolts to fit. -

Anyone managed to fit a new battery to a set of ProComs yet?
Treeman123 replied to Chris Sheppard's topic in General chat
Yes I did it. Little screws to come out but it is possible. Found the same battery on ebay delivered from China. I had a problem where one set wouldn't charge so I thought it was the battery but it wasn't in the end. Cant find the picture of the battery to save my life! -

Nice work Stephen, thirty years ago all the old boys would bleat on about how tracks and trees didn’t work, how things have changed.🤙 Bob

What makes the original such a classic is the brilliant script, so many quotable lines. Here’s a great scene, I love the way the negotiator goes too far with the “we’ll even throw in a Blaupunkt” line.

Hi I'm Italian tree climber currently living in Italy, i started my career in arboriculture 2 years ago. I been working as a ground man for a year and already done tree pruning/reduction/removal on my own. I've an Italian certificate to climb and operate on trees and chainsaw licence. I'm really passionate and I wanna grow up in this world. I currently looking to get hire with a Training position or whatever way will give me a chance to do this job out of my country. Available to move worldwide.

After ten years of chainsaw milling my back has decided it doesn't want to haul and stack dirty great slabs and wrestle with a big mill anymore. As a result my 880 and custom 70" mill kit are up for sale in the classifieds. Very happy to do a deal on the complete set up. I can courier or collection from Carmarthenshire.

Stihl MS880 Chainsaw with a Stihl 48" Duromatic bar and Oregon chain. The saw is complete and in full working order with a new Stihl oiler recently installed. It is a fabulous saw which has never let me down. It is still in great order and runs faultessly. It starts every time and oils well, even on much larger bars. It has been well looked after. It is always allowed to warm up and cool down properly and is never left to cool with a tensioned chain fitted. Any replacement parts have been genuine Stihl and it is always run with Stihl Synth bar oil and their two stroke oil. The bar has seen quite a bit of use but is well maintained and still in good order. I have only used the chain once. It has probably done around ten cuts. The delivery fee quoted is to mainland UK but feel free to contact me for a quote for delivery to more remote locations. If you fancy a great Large Log Milling Kit to go with this saw, have a look at my other items.£1,200
