I was asked to chop up a lime stump, around 36" DBH. It fell in December. The roots were powder and significantly sized logs weighed nothing. The owners were unaware of its ill health until it fell in a storm. My opinion is to remove.

I’m a 21 tree surgeon based in north wales, and was doing perimeter clearance on a Scottish power substation in Kirby on the 29/5/25. My saw was stolen in the time of the team unloading kit and looking at the job no more than 70 meters away. Just throwing this in there..... what are you carrying in the trailer? I often use hitchlock, cover and chain but the goods in the trailer are not secured, the trailer can be tipped and the load rolled out or just craned off!
