    Jokes???

Twenty and four for me. Strictly an analogue house, didn't even get to go on that TV ping pong game! We walked to school at primary age too! Spent hours waiting for Dad after rugby matches at various clubs he played at, especially the home games. Helped out for free on fruit farm "for fun". Didn't dare answer back. Sung in church choir for the money.
  4. Damp and grey never mind long weekend ahead
  5. Today
  6. Morning Team. Out with the big dog today and having chip dinner with old friend and customer. Salad for tea then! Sill, Lab, Lack.

    Jokes???

Warming to the theme now. How about getting dropped off by the school bus at the end of a 1 mile long un-tarmacked lane and then walking the rest of the way home. Occasionally, if it was raining too heavily, mum would come and get us on the motorbike, one on the front, one on the back. Deepest, darkest Devon. Those were the days. Non of this being ferried by car right into the classroom bollox.
  8. Morning Jase , morning all . 11c . Terrific thunder storm last nigh . Lasted a couple of hours .
  9. Good morning Arbtalkers 😊 Have a good day....
  10. Wordle 1,048 4/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟩⬜ ⬜🟩🟨🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  11. Morning, in for a roaster today hopefully. Yesterday we had 19 degrees of sunshine!
  12. Wordle 1,048 4/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Pleased with myself here. Did line 4, then before pressing enter, went through the alternatives, found a more likely one and changed it.
  13. Mark if you are asking you are in doubt about the job. Surly the customer gets to say what they want if its down to you use a proper decking board with groves and tanalized timber. Pressure treated stuff will last 10 years without an issue. Put a light fall on the decking so water can run off job done.
  14. Yesterday
  15. Well our minds truly ended up in the gutter on that one all I wanted was opinions on grooves or not in the decking boards its a raised deck about 5ft off the ground
  16. Some of the tadpoles in the pond we dug last summer are almost thinking about growing legs. Edit to add: I've just counted, there's bloody loads of them.
  17. Planted this paulownia tree (foxglove) a few years back. Flowering for the first time this year.
  18. That moth looks pretty special. Is it the emperor moth?
  19. Yeah, I feared it would be one of those, "It depends." answers.
  20. It varies an awful lot, especially depending on where you are from, but some people call the bottom of the hind legs hocks and the front legs hands. Some people call them both hocks. Noone calls the back legs hands. Some people call the front hock the knuckle instead, particularly when it is cut smaller. The hand as a roasting joint often contains a bit more meat from further up the shoulder, but not necessarily. It could be called the hand and spring, if cut to include even more from higher up the shoulder. Just the same as the question "is it a shrimp or a prawn?", the answer is more based on geography than the animal.

I also remember lifting the mats in the back and watching the road go by through the holes in the floor! Arr the good old days 🤣
  23. Ive never seen a piston with that type of damage before. As suggested it looks like a plug fault/ timing issue due to the damage on the crown and intake side of the piston. Any chance something has broken away and been sucked into the engine?
