  1. Past hour
  2. A reasonably tall hedge on a slope is always a fun combination. To add extra fun, the path was being rebuilt and had lots of freshly layed bricks and slabs. Laurel, yew, yew, spiky pyrocantha covered in Ivy and laurel. Second photo was getting dark and hasnt come out well with the trees behind.
  3. Trying now!
  4. thanks Pete and good luck. You still haven't changed your sig
  5. There wasn't really too much wrong with the physical build, more the ignition timing, carburetion and exhaust design. There aren't too many issues now, the mufflers crack in the middle of the base but the rest of it seems pretty sorted now.
  6. Close enough!
  7. Andrew Mountbatten Windsor (as he will now be known) is getting his final punishment from the family. Difficult to feel sorry for him, that Emily Matliss interview really showed what he was all about.
  8. That's Brad Snelling me old mucker👍
  9. I have not used it on plastics however the cherry red is excellent for annodising and I believe its the right type for it, and may be a good match for the Jonsered? I made an enclosure for some electrics a few years back. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00AQ761Y6
  10. The AT would try to keep the revs down and would succeed unless the air leak became too big for it to do this. If you get a CST read out from the AT, you will be able to look at what the carb is doing at high revs.
  11. It seems Putin is loosing support from his own people . Since he " annexed " 4 regions of Ukraine in 2022 he has only captured 0.04% of the total area with over a million lost men and a huge amount of hardware . He is being lied to by his generals about how well they are doing and men are deserting in droves . It has been estimated that at the current rate of progress it would take him until 2033 to occupy just one of those areas .
  12. Today
  13. been working and missed the thread
  14. No one expects the comfy chair !🙂
  15. 'Kin nightmare ! Not as described and not fit for purpose . Other than that delivery was quick 😃
  16. Elon Musk says he needs $1 trillion to control Tesla's robot army. Yes, really. ELECTREK.CO Elon Musk, who's spent years engaging in questionable public advocacy, just said he wants to "control" an "enormous robot army."
  17. I agree. Driverless cars are a mint idea, I could sleep/work on a three hour journey to work.
  18. I haven't investigated on our volvo yet, but hopefully when the deal was done from landrover, he told volvo to improve on the pto design taking drive from front gearbox to rear axle. Had 2 freelander2s and blew the pto drive sleeve on both. Unlubricated components ate splines off driveshaft ends. Known issue but in true LR style refused to address.
  19. It has its drawbacks, but the ‘modern stuff is rubbish’ crowd are just wanky old moaners. Drive a 25 year old pick up truck, and compare it to the modern ones. Gutless crap in comparison.
  20. My grandfather, sold the tech to volvo from landrover so they could make their 4x4 s 🤣 believe it or not , and also had close ties with Honda and there crvs
  21. but how long will they survive before they're hijacked and stripped for parts by the usual suspects.
  22. Whats it weighs?
  23. Ufkes Greentec have a head office and factory in Holland and another spot in Germany! I also got Ragnartec to sell which is a huge, arctic sized chipper!
  24. I agree totally. Having said that driverless taxis are arriving in London next year, and I say ‘Bring it on’. Results so far in USA show far higher levels of safety, and zero assaults by pervy taxi drivers!
  25. Loaders are a pain in the arse to strap in those trailers, the side lashing rings are all too high.
