Morning all. Long day yesterday but a good one. The promised cake arrived after tree 1 was done, in individual treat bags along with penguins and ferrero rocher, they were spoiling us. Couple of pics, new mog and trailer out earning. Have a good one folks.

I work in towns, never had a spotter. Not much different than driving a 6 cylinder tractor with that long bonnet, then add a roof mount and grab on grab bar, that’s a front end. Some people look for problems so you’ll find them. Make it work is my way of doing things.
-
One of a few things that delayed me from the pub in the 80's, epic.....
-
I've always wondered what it's like to drive with all that chipper stuck out the front, not too handy in town? You'd need a spotter to send ahead to see if you can pull out of a junction.

Hi there, We are a home with a wood burner that needs to be fed! Driveway is two cars wide but will need some slight manoeuvring to get in depending on how large your vehicle is. Happy to have it dumped in the driveway and we will move it out the back on the weekend. Just need some warning so we can get cars out before the delivery

There was a reason I had it briefly,it didn’t do what a mog does. mogs have Ptos, pto chippers were always a 3rd the price of rd tow, run it on cherry, free rd tax no Mot or tacho hassle. If by looking at 1 you can’t see the benefits then don’t bother buying 1, it’s not for you.

Sorry I missed all the messages. I've gone ahead now and ordered a Peterson 10" WPF due for delivery in May.

For completeness....here are the bar/chain specs for the 550i if anyone is interested. Four different bar/chain combinations, two in full chisel and two in semi-chisel in either 1.3 mm or 1.5 mm gauge. When Mick gets his bigger battery, technically it could carry a 20" bar and chain!!!! For how long though....who knows?

Quite. Don't let the books suggest that pinpoint pH is vital. What's more important to the OP than slight acidity is drainage; walnuts won't stand in wet ground.

may as well spam the page with something I can't afford - Iveco Daily 4x4. No PTO for chipper, but good road speed and handling. Would need to be more than 3.5ton to get any payload. So presumably an operating licence. Never seen one, only the one Stephen Blair on here had briefly.
