  19. Morning all . The last day of mild temps here . Late afternoon temps dropping away with a week of low single figures and a few noughts thrown in ! Happy Sunday 🙂
  20. TBH, with the 572 it was like a hot knife through butter, S. Chestnut is a very amenable wood, even long dead stuff.
  21. Allotments are just behind the hedge, on the opposite side of Station Road from Orchard Cottage. Please try to leave as much wood on the allotment as possible and not on the verge, and please call before dropping off, I may not have space. Ideally looking for longer lengths of hardwood for woodworking 😋 but otherwise will accept softwood for firewood. Thank you!

  26. the summer we've just had was more like Spain is. Never seen a lemon on anyone's tree before. Seen the trees in a few gardens, but never any fruit.

Not a good sign if there is no lights, you can’t even plug it in to the computer if it doesn’t power on, check the battery terminals where the battery connects, I have seen them push one of the connections back so does not make contact, failing that I fear it could be the control board, I hope not.
