Surely it's going to get to the point that it is becoming the tory party under a different shade of blue. Seeing as though the conservatives were kicked into touch last time round may be people won't see it as a good thing, not refreshing as once promised but more the same acrid pool. Mind you labour are leaving the door open

Finally got recovered at 9.30pm, western recovery were very good. Said they had been sent somewhere else and had been given the wrong number some hours ago. Quite frankly I found the whole process appalling. I do feel as though the initial patrol guy could have been more helpful. We had waited 2 hours for him to arrive and confirm what I had said. Then we had to be on the phone for 20 mins before we could get a call handler to then tell them what the situation was. Very happy to get in that lorry with the car on the back. Ordered the replacement belt, of course not one the local motor factors keep on the shelf, tomorrows job.

I still use my Rupert the Bear cookbook. Well, I still use one recipe from it, but the book sits there on my shelf still... It doesn't have the marmite recipe in though as far as I can recall...

Don't think Jensen are really going / producing wood chippers at the moment? It looks like TH White Machinery Imports (Jensen UK) have hung up their boots with trying to bring it in?

Woodchips to be suitable for a stable yard. Cannot include bark poisonous to equines - ie, yew, sycamore, black walnut, laurel, fresh fir, cedar and rhododendron
-
As I recall (and obviously it was 45ish years ago) Rupert the Bear had Marmite and peanut butter sandwiches in the recipe section of the annual. Had a soft spot for the combination ever since.
-
Brilliant! Finally get a brew and proceed to spit it up the window.

Did you explain to the passenger it's always the nearside occupant that gets killed by an over exuberant driver?
-
Another question on Borax, does it kill woodworm that are in the wood or does it solely protect from infection? TIA

Feeling like I've smashed that one! One got to take his own car and claim back mileage, sent the other as his passenger, they're off with a magnetic beacon on the roof feeling like kings of arb and I get the day alone in the mog with R4 and no tik tok reels or talk of deathstar Lego sets. Win win.

No big deal, not like Labour were going to win anyway!
