Ah a bit of “ Whataboutery” bit early for that I’d think. Comparing the chaos of the post WW2 era to Hamas actions 🤷♂️ Orgreave = British soil. So you think recent military interventions in that area have been successful??
- Today
-
we don't have a big army - why I suggested a coalition Orgreave was 40 years ago, 1947 was nearly 80 years ago. Things in the past are what makes today today The Irgun policy was based on what was then called Revisionist Zionism founded by Ze'ev Jabotinsky.[2] Two of the most infamous operations for which the Irgun were known; the bombing of the British administrative headquarters for Mandatory Palestine in Jerusalem on 22 July 1946 and the Deir Yassin massacre that killed at least 107 Palestinian Arab villagers, including women and children, carried out with Lehi on 9 April 1948.

We don’t have hardly any boots left to put on the ground. Military intervention 🤔🤔Iraq, Afghanistan etc etc it tends not to work out well in that part of the world as the Americans found out years ago in Beirut. ?? Your point “ 1947” Watch some of the footage of the murders, rapes, beheadings during the Hamas attack that started this latest round of violence. Hamas have taken sadistic terrorism to a new level. Why do their immediate Arab neighbours not want Hamas on their soil 🤔

No expert, but that doesn’t look like a Grandiflora, which are the tree size ones. Looks like a Soulangenea (sp) which stays much smaller. -
To reward Israel for snatching so much of the Palestinian land in the West Bank and now destroying most of Gaza by not wading in with boots on the ground is a stain on all governments. A coalition force (with China to dissuade American nukes) is needed to mop up IDF and get some food and life back into Gaza. The Israelis were terrorists long before Hamas came on the scene - Let me recall to the House the details of the two incidents to which I wish to refer. First, there was the flogging case. On 27th December, a young Jew, who had been sentenced to imprisonment and caning, had the sentence of caning carried out. His offence, I believe, had been robbery with violence at a bank. On 29th December, a British officer and three noncommissioned officers were kidnapped and flogged. It was openly said by the Irgun that that was a reprisal for the caning of the youth. I

Since its creation in December 1987, Hamas has invoked militant interpretations of Islam to spearhead a Sunni extremist movement committed to destroying Israel. Hamas distanced itself from the longstanding Palestine To reward Hamas for their actions ie the unprovoked attack that triggered the latest round of confrontations is a dangerous path for any western government to go down.

I'm a little worse for wear but, bear with. I don't recall any specific discussions but there's been a few references. Google is your friend in these kind of scenarios -
All 9 royal parks there is a total ban on climbing or interfering with any tree, many other parks will possibly have a similar ban in place, at the very least it would be prudent to find out any such rules beforehand out of common courtesy, besides which there are likely to be various fines in place for breaking park rules, you may be experienced enough to treat a tree with care, but imagine if everyone decided to climb it without your level of care, another fact to consider if a climber were to fall not necessarily using the appropriate climbing gear, that long grass would not help being seen and delay in medical help could be critical depending on any injuries. But as the op has already stated he will not be climbing in any public areas so I guess he will be just fine. he is taking a sensible approach.
